With generous support from the Corbett School PTA, East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, and Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant a new Outdoor Classroom and Native Habitat is being created on Corbett school grounds.

Students removed invasive plants, and planted native species. They built trails, and spread mulch. They worked together with their classmates to improve their community.

Outdoor Classrooms serve as learning laboratories for students for years to come. These unique environments provide truly memorable experiences for students to explore and discover local plants, birds, bugs and soil, track weather and seasonal changes,
