ECO Programs enhance and support science education in the northwest by providing hands-on ecology-based instruction in schools and community settings. Classes are facilitated by experienced scientists who we call our Scientists in Residence. Scientists in Residence visit students to share their enthusiasm and knowledge of northwest ecology. ECO Scientists also provide classroom teachers with ideas about how to incorporate science into their existing curriculum.
